Refund policy
We stand behind what we sell, and we want the sizing and fit process to be low-stress. Here's exactly how returns work.
The window
You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request an exchange or store credit. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and still have their tags attached. We're not able to accept anything that's been worn or washed, even once, since it can no longer be resold as new.
How to start a return
Email support@tendedgoodsco.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We handle this by hand, not through a self-service portal, since we're a small team and we'd rather actually read what you write than route you through a form.
Shipping
Return shipping is on you, except in the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect (see below). We'll send you the return address once your request is approved.
Store credit
Approved returns are issued as store credit, not a cash refund. Store credit is sent to the email on your order and is good for 6 months from the date it's issued. Use it before it expires; we won't extend it after the fact.
Final sale items
Soap, dry brushes, and other consumable or hygiene items are final sale. No returns, no exchanges, no exceptions, for the same reason you wouldn't want to buy an opened bar of soap from someone else.
Manufacturing defects
If something arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect, we'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund (including your original return shipping cost), at our discretion. Email us a photo along with your order number and we'll sort it out quickly.
What's not a defect: a loose thread, a slightly uneven seam, or small natural variation in a handmade or naturally-dyed piece. These are normal characteristics of honestly-made goods, not flaws, and they're part of what you're getting instead of a mass-produced, machine-perfect finish. We won't apologize for it, and we won't refund for it either.
Cash refunds
Outside of a confirmed manufacturing defect, we don't issue cash refunds. Store credit and exchanges are how we handle returns; that's the trade that lets us keep prices honest instead of padding them to cover return costs.
Questions before you buy? Check our Sizing Guide first. Most exchanges come down to fit, and a few extra minutes with a tape measure usually saves the round trip.
